“Shattered Sunrise” is a 16x20 spray-paint landscape created as part of my Art Is My Recovery journey, built with bold color and cracked mountain textures to tell the story of breaking apart and rebuilding again. The fiery orange sky pushes against the cool blue water, symbolizing the tension between chaos and calm that shaped my healing, while the fractured ridges of the mountain mirror the pieces of myself I had to face and reconnect along the way. Every line and layer was made during the moments when recovery felt raw but possible, turning those emotions into a scene that reminds you we rise even after the hardest breaks.”
