Emergence

“Emergence” is a 16x20 abstract spray-paint piece created as part of my Art Is My Recovery journey, built from raw layers of bright pink, deep green, and metallic texture to capture what it feels like to grow through the mess. Nothing in this painting is controlled or predictable — the colors collide, drip, and push through the surface the same way healing does. Every rough patch, every soft fade, and every burst of color reflects the stages of recovery that don’t make sense until you step back and see how far you’ve come. This piece is all emotion, all movement, and a reminder that beauty can come out of the most chaotic seasons.”
