Solar Alignment

“Solar Alignment” is a 16x20 original spray-paint piece created as part of my ongoing Art Is My Recovery journey, built around the idea that even when life feels scattered, there’s always a center you can return to. Four textured planets pull toward a glowing yellow sun, each one carrying its own colors, scars, and storms—just like the different versions of ourselves we cycle through during recovery. The black-space backdrop, the splattered stars, and the layered textures all reflect the moments I’ve felt lost, grounded, hopeful, and rebuilding, sometimes all at once. This painting is a reminder that no matter how far you drift, you can always find your way back to the light.”
